She has appeared on the “700 Club”, “Miracles Today” and has guest hosted several Christian television programs. Monica is the author of “Spared to Be Blessed” and “No Ironing on Sundays: Restoring Reverence for God.”

Monica was awarded scholarships two years in a row to attend the Institute on Nonviolence sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Social Change in Atlanta, GA. There she was recognized for her commitment to the philosophy of nonviolence by the late Coretta Scott King. Also, while attending Spelman College she was a volunteer tutor for the adult literacy program sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Social Change.

Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology and twenty-five years of religious training and active ministry, Monica is the executive editor of the Woman of Destiny online magazine and the Perfecting Women newsletter. She is the host of the Living in Victory radio broadcast, the Ladies Night Out worship service and the Perfecting Women Empowerment Conference (formerly known as the Living in Victory ladies conference). This innovative show offers sound biblical solutions for today’s dilemmas. Energized with revelation and the anointing, Monica discusses the Bible, current events - both in and out of the Church while engaging her guests in dynamic conversation.

“Now He had to go through Samaria..When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and Who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water." "Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?" Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water." …Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman's testimony…" John 4:4-15;39 (NIV)

Jesus was destined to go through Samaria. The woman at the well was destined to meet Him there. The destiny of the people in the town depended upon that one encounter. One Savior – One Woman - One Destiny. Whether from a pulpit, a pen, or over a cup of latte, the mission of Woman of Destiny Ministries is to “Reach the world with the Gospel, one woman at a time.” Empowered by the Word of God, Woman of Destiny Ministries is committed to empowering women to fulfill their destiny.

Monica is a gifted Bible teacher, author and conference speaker. In addition to her itinerant ministry, she is a volunteer at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, NC where she currently resides.

The Teaching Ministry of Monica C. Holland

"But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.  The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.  Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt." Matthew 18:25-27

Have you ever been betrayed?  Have you ever had your heart broken?  Does a lead brick fall to the pit of your stomach every time you see the person who wounded you?  Does the mention of their name leave you shivering cold?  Do you find it difficult to forgive your offenders who act as if nothing ever happened and expect you to do the same?  Does the throbbing ache of your painful past still keep you up at night? I know I’ve asked a lot, but let this excerpt of “They Cannot Pay” from the Living In Victory Radio Broadcast answer all of those questions for you.  It is time for you and I to forgive and live. Your offender cannot pay for what they did to you, but Jesus can!
